Male Boudoir Photographer

My Journey and Passion

I’m a boudoir photographer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a deep-rooted love for capturing life's most intimate and beautiful moments. Growing up, I was always immersed in the arts, whether it was drawing, writing, or creating something with my hands.

Initially, I dreamed of becoming a head chef in NYC. However, in 2010, I took a leap of faith and interned at a local photography studio. Despite the unpaid, long hours, this experience honed my craft and ignited my passion for photography. After exploring various genres, I ultimately found my true calling in boudoir photography.

Why Boudoir?

I do boudoir because sometimes we all need a little push, a push to help us overcome our fears and doubts. Whether it be not feeling confident in your own skin anymore or just simply letting go of the feeling that we cannot fully control everything in our lives. My hope is to empower women and help them feel as beautiful as they are, to embrace their inner and outer beauty.

I hope to inspire others to find that confidence again, to show them how absolutely perfect their imperfections really are. So, why do I do boudoir?

I do boudoir… To show “YOU” what's been there all along.

What to Expect

When you book a boudoir session with me, here's what you can expect:

  • Consultation: We’ll start with a consultation to discuss your vision, wardrobe, and any questions or concerns you may have. This is your chance to share your ideas and what you hope to achieve with your photos.

  • The Shoot: On the day of your shoot, I'll guide you through every step, from posing to expressions. My studio is a relaxed, judgment-free zone where you can be yourself and have fun.

  • The Reveal: After your session, we’ll schedule a time for you to view your images. This is often the most exciting part, as you get to see yourself through my lens. I'll help you select your favorite photos for your album or prints.

A Little About Me

I’m a loose-leaf tea connoisseur with probably too much tea to drink. I enjoy binge-watching spectacular TV shows until I can't keep my eyes open. The perfect date night for me is the cliché dinner and a movie.

I have a seven-year-old daughter who is my twin and the love of my life. I also have two mini me's who love to climb on things just like I did at their age. And let's not forget my three pups—Akira, Nebula, and August—making my home feel like a zoo.

Born in LA, raised in Brooklyn and Myrtle Beach, I’ve had apartments in Charleston and have lived in Monroe, Northville, and Canton, MI.

Photography runs in my blood—my grandfather was a photographer, and according to my father, the genes didn’t fall far from the tree. I believe photography can capture timeless, captivating moments that people share. Boudoir photography, in particular, allows me to celebrate the beauty, strength, and confidence of individuals in a profound way.

YOU CAN DO THIS!

"I'm not a model, I'm not good enough, it's not worth it if I don't think I'll look good, I don't have a reason, I need to lose weight, I've done them with a friend and hated them...

I hear TONS of excuses as to why people don't want to book a session and I'm here to tell you that the pros outweigh your cons...

You don't have to be a model because I'm here to guide the posing process. You are good enough, don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Ok listen... You're going to look AMAZING with my years of experience and expertise in the field. I've been shooting professionally for 10 years and have photographed well over 100 boudoir sessions, and I know for a fact that you are going to fall in love with yourself!

Okay, but your reason for a session doesn't have to be marriage, anniversary, Valentine's day. It could be for self-love therapy, celebration of your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th kid, it could be because you just want to have new wall art in your bedroom and you want it to be of you, maybe you just bought a new set of lingerie you love? You don't even need a reason!

So, this one is the biggest misconception... "I need to lose weight first" is such a lie. Understandable that you might be on a fitness journey to becoming stronger, losing weight, and eating healthier... But, self-love is so important at any stage. Could you imagine getting a boudoir session and seeing how amazing you look with your here and now, having an overflowing confidence like no other and then BAM you hit your goals, look back at those photos and say WOW I was as hot in those photos as I am now... Then do another session and rock that one too!

Boudoir isn't a "one-time thing," it's a "I hit a goal or had a life event or just because thing" so you can cut that shit out because even as valid as your concerns are, you have the support!

Ok... So if you had these done by a friend and even if they were a photographer, it's not even the same... It was a HUGE learning curve for me to go from weddings to boudoir, and I'll admit the photos didn't start out too great, but over time shooting and learning and doing the poses myself, I began to realize this isn't something you can pick up overnight."
